We work with international actors that need delivery capacity, technical services, and local coordination in Ukraine. Connecta’s portfolio includes prolific projects for UN agencies, international NGOs, EU-funded programmes, and bilateral development organizations.
Our role is not advisory at a distance. We deliver defined scopes of work under service and implementation contracts, coordinate between international frameworks and Ukrainian partners, and provide the local institutional knowledge needed to make programmes work in practice.
We engage as a service provider, a local delivery partner, and a project implementer. In some cases, we act as all three. Based in Kyiv, with operational continuity throughout the war, our team can deploy across Ukrainian regions to support programme roll-out.

International Media Relations
We help international organisations position their work in Ukraine for global media audiences. Our team employs professionals who previously served as media officers for the UN, OSCE as well as other international actors operating from Ukraine, and successfully pitched stories to The New York Times, Politico, BBC, The Economist and other global outlets. We can support and amplify your international media engagement to reach both visibility and fund mobilization objectives.
Strategic & Project Communications
We support international organisations and programmes in communicating their work in Ukraine clearly and effectively. This includes communication strategy, programme materials, and multimedia content such as podcasts, video, and digital storytelling, with a focus on making recovery and development initiatives visible and understandable to Ukrainian audiences, and aligned with partner communication objectives.
We facilitate engagement with Ukrainian public institutions at national, regional, and municipal levels, supporting dialogue with ministries, government agencies, and local authorities, and helping international actors navigate institutional processes required for programme implementation. We support INGOs and technical assistance projects newly launching in Ukraine in establishing engagement with the appropriate government counterparts from the outset.

We help international organisations adapt global programmes, methodologies, and training frameworks to the Ukrainian context. This includes translating approaches into local institutional realities and working with experts who combine Ukrainian sectors; knowledge with international development experience — whether the focus is child protection, governance, environment, or economic development — ensuring that international models become applicable and credible in the Ukrainian context.
Localization of International Methodologies
We design and deliver tailored capacity-building support for Ukrainian civil society organizations, including those acting as implementing partners for international organisations. Our work encompasses mentoring and training in communications, donor compliance, monitoring and evaluation, procurement, and programme management, helping international actors advance their localization strategies through partners better prepared to deliver.

Project Implementation & Delivery
We act as an implementing partner for recovery and development projects in Ukraine, taking on contracted scopes of work from international organisations, development agencies, and programme consortia. With our project management capacity combined with an extensive database of experts, we are strongly positioned to assemble project teams for a wide range of topics and scopes, especially in niche areas where finding a ready-made team is difficult. Our current direct implementation portfolio ranges from regional dialogues with business on EU accession to a podcast series on early recovery.
